Things You Never Knew About Late Ghanaian Artist Ebony Reign

Some hours ago, death laid its icy hands on Ghanaian dance-hall artist Ebony Reigns, and took her away from earth through a road accident.

Naija News learnt that Ebony and three others- a friend, driver, and bodyguard were all in the vehicle when the accident happened.

Here are things you might not know about late Ebony Reigns:

– Ebony Reigns was born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra. She was raised in the urban areas of Accra.

– She started her basic education at Seven Great Princess Academy in Dansoman, Accra followed by a high school education at Methodist Girls High School at Mamfe in the Akuapim North District of the Eastern Region, Ghana, though she did not graduate.

– In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”, which is a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.

– Reigns was killed in a traffic collision on 8 February 2018 while returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit.

– She was one week away from her 21st birthday.
