Letter To Buhari: IGP Orders Arrest Of Babangida’s Spokesperson

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the arrest of the Mr. Kassim Afegbua, spokesman of ex-Military President Ibrahim Babangida, if he refuses to turn himself up within 24 hours.
The IGP declared Afegbua wanted for “issuing a fake statement.”
Disclosing the arrest warrant was a government source, who pleaded anonymity, saying the IGP had directed Afegbua’s arrest within 24 hours.
Afegbua in the said statement quoted the Babangida as saying President Muhammadu Buhari should not run for reelection.
In a turn of event, the former president expressly denied it, while issuing another one personally signed by him.
However, Afegbua maintained that the one he issued as the authentic.
