Four Killed, Several Injured In Taraba Fresh Attack

Few hours after governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba state raised alarm that some hoodlums plan to attack the state in ten days, some suspected herdsmen attacked and killed four persons in Ngutsen village of Wurojam ward in Gasol local government area of the state.

An eye witness, anonymously told Vanguard that the attackers invaded the village at about 9 pm on Thursday with sophisticated weapons.

The witness said, “The came in our village in large number, is by the grace of God that we from the village were having sleepless nights since the rumor of the landing of Helicopter close to our village here, we were able alert our people”

“Though four persons were killed, two women and two men, several people were injured and they taking treatment at several hospitals as we speaks”

The Police Public’s Relation Officer, David Misar, however, said he was yet to be briefed over the incident and promised to get back to newsmen as soon as he gets the details.
