Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa may miss the clash between the Eagles and hosts Morocco in Sunday’s final of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) on Sunday in Casablanca.

The goalkeeper and team captain, collided with his teammate Stephen Eze in the 12th minute of the semi final match against Sudan and had to be substituted with Dele Ajiboye.

The Eagles went on to defeat their semi final opponents, Sudan to set up a final clash against Morocco on Sunday.

Reports inside the Eagles camp however suggests Ezenwa will be out injured for up to three weeks, automatically forcing him to miss the final on Sunday.

“Ezenwa will be out for three weeks, which means he won’t be available for the final game. We are proud of his quality contribution to the team success in the tournament, we also have capable replacement which gives the team a balance,” Sun quoted the source as saying.

Nigeria will face Morocco in the 2018 CHAN final on Sunday in Casablanca.
