Arsenal and Arsene Wenger on Saturday, proved there is so much more going on at the Emirates stadium than Alexis Sanchez as they dispatched Crystal Palace by four goals to one.

Arsenal, for the second game in a row, played without their Chilean talisman who is reportedly close to signing for Jose Mourinho led Manchester United.

City’s impressive run at the top of the table continued with a win over Newcastle at the Etihad stadium. This represents a welcome relief to Pep and his men after Liverpool handed them their first defeat of the season when the two teams played two weekends ago.
