Ex-football star, George Weah, has today, January 22, been sworn-in as the new Liberian president and Commander-in-Chief of the Liberian Defence Forces with several leaders from across the continent of Africa and beyond on ground to witness the occasion.

He takes over from Africa’s first female president, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
