14-years old Khadija Salisu, was on Thursday reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen from her father’s compound in Katsina State.

The abductors have demanded a ransom of N30 million from the family of the kidnapped teenage girl before she can be released from their den.

Confirming the incident, the Katsina State Police Command, DSP Gambo Isah, said men and officers have been dispatched into the bush and all hands are on deck to rescue the teenage girl.

The girl’s father, Alhaji Salisu Mai-Tiles said unknown gunmen, heavily armed invaded his residence at Sabuwar-Abuja quarters in Kankia local government area of Katsina state at about 1:30 a.m.

Three of them entered his residence while others stood watch outside to protect their colleagues.

The abductors demanded for money which they were given but unfortunately, they also left with his daughter after been given all they demanded for.

According to him, “They asked me to give them money, which I did. “Whatever they asked us we never objected to their demand to save our lives. “Very unfortunate, they went with my 14-year-old daughter.

“The abductors have placed a call where I spoke with the child and she told me they asked for N30m earlier but I heard from background of few arguments saying its N100m or no more,” the victims father said.
