Photos From The Gas Fire Outbreak In Magodo, Lagos State

Residents of the Magodo Estate area of Lagos state, woke up on Monday to a fire incident caused by explosions at Second Coming – a gas company located in the area.

Two people reportedly lost their lives in the accident while several others were injured and receiving treatment.

Though the actual cause of the fire outbreak at the gas company is yet to be confirmed, a combined team of fire fighters from the Lagos Fire Service, men of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), officials of the Lagos State Emergency Agency, as well as other relevant agencies have been able to put out the fire and maintain calm in the area.

Vehicular and human traffic along the area is also been controlled by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency to avoid unnecessary inconveniences to commuters in and around the area.
