2023: FG Sponsoring Violence And Accusing IPOB - Powerful

The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday criticized President Muhammadu Buhari for his alleged inability to combat the killings of innocent Nigerians in Benue and Taraba states by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

IPOB demanded prompt transfer of soldiers to the stricken areas to stem the attacks.

In a statement issued by the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, IPOB stated that “We are still wondering why the Nigerian Government could not send soldiers to aid its citizens in Benue, Taraba, Kaduna and other states where Fulani herdsmen are rampaging and killing innocent citizens with impunity.

“If the Nigerian government and her security agencies are sincere about tackling the menace of Fulani herdsmen, they must also deploy their soldiers to Benue and Taraba states with the same shoot-at-sight order they readily applied against peaceful Biafra agitators.”

Meanwhile, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra(MASSOB), lead by Mr. Uchenna Madu, has charged  southern states and the Middle Belt, to beware over the alleged herdsmen plans to attack major cities and communities in their vicinities.
