JUST IN: Gov. Yari Reshuffles Cabinet Members

Zamfara state Governor, Abdul’Aziz Yari

Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara state has directed the reshuffling of the state cabinet, in order to reposition the government for better service delivery.

A statement containing the directive was signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi.

The posting and redeployment is said to take immediate effect, Shinkafi said.

He added that some of the Commissioners have retained their positions while some swapped positions and som others were transferred to new ministries.

The statement reveals thatt former Water Resources Commissioner, Alhaji  Sanda Muhammad Danjari is the new Information, Culture and Tourism Commissioner swapping with  Alhaji Umar Jibo Bukkuyum who has now been transferred to Water Resources.

Former Commissioner, Alhaji Sule Adamu Gummi is moved to the ministry of Lands and Survey as the new Commissioner; Former Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, Alhaji Lawal M. Liman is the new Commissioner for Health and the Alhaji Idris Muhammad Keta is the new Commissioner for Rural and Community Development having being redeployed from the ministry of  Environment.urn
