15 Persons Dead As Herdsmen, Farmers Clash In Adamawa

At least 15 person have been killed in an ambush by Fulani herdsmen in Luru village, Girei Local government area of Adamawa state.

A community leader in the area said that 15 persons were killed by fulani herdsmen in an ambush.

But the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, Abdullahi Yerima who also confirmed the incident, explained that preliminary report before him indicated that two persons lost their lives while several others wounded.

According to him the crisis was as a result of altercation between farmers and herdsmen.
