Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed has called on members of the public to assist the command with valuable information that can aid the arrest of the perpetrators behind the killing of 16 persons on New Year’s Day in the state.

Ahmed made the call while giving an update on investigation into the incident.

The CP said the police is on the chase of the gunmen who fired sporadically at the unsuspeting victims as they returned from New year’s service in Omoku community of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state.
