Mapoly ASUP suspend strike action

The Academic Staff Union of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (ASUP), Abeokuta, Ogun State has suspended its industrial action.

The strike was suspended to allow dialogue with the lecturers and the state government.

The suspension was made known by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Kola Abiola, following a congress held on the institution’s Campus.

He said the Congress conclude on calling  off the strike due to interventions from prominent personalities in the state with a view to resolving the issue while the school academic programme has resumed.
