-The appointments take immediate effect and Honourable Ministers are advised to inaugurate the boards after letters of appointment have been issued

Buhari approves 209 board chairmen, 1258 board members

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of 209 Board Chairmen as well as 1258 board members.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary General of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the constitution of the boards indicate the President’s “efforts to build strong institution of Governance”.

Buhari’s recent set of appointments is the largest since he became president in 2015.
