Presidency Denies Taking Buhari’s Son, Yusuf, To Germany
FG rejects report that Buhari’s son, Yusuf, was taken abroad.
The Presidency has dismissed an online report that the President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf Buhari was flown to Germany on early Thursday morning following the head and limb injury he sustained in a bike accident he had in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Information gathered from an online media outfit, TheCable, on Thursday said that Buhari’s family had decided to fly Yusuf abroad for further medical treatment.
“He was driven to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, in an ambulance with oxygen support.
“An orthopaedic consultant with specialisation in head injuries was also on the flight to monitor his progress,” TheCable reported.
However, Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, who had disclosed that Yusuf was in a stable condition, said on Thursday in Abuja that he was still being treated at a private hospital in Abuja.
