Omokri Blasts Nigerian Govt Over Plan To Stop Fuel Importation In 2019

Omokri mocks FG’s promise to stop fuel importation in 2019.

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has slammed the Federal Government for saying Nigeria will stop importing fuel by 2019.

Omokri said President Buhari has neither built a single refinery nor repaired old ones since he assumed power, wondering how he will stop fuel importation.

Omokri who tweeted this on his Twitter handle, called on Nigerians to ask the president if he has fulfilled his promise of making naira equal to dollar.

He wrote: “The Buhari administration hasn’t built a single refinery.

“They have not repaired the old ones. Yet @FemAdesina went on TV to say Nigeria will stop importing fuel by 2019.

“If you believe that then ask Buhari if he has made Naira equal to Dollar as he promised during the campaigns.”
