Woman Killed By Unknown Gunmen For Refusing To Be Kidnapped

A woman has been sent to an early grave after she refused to be abducted by gunmen in Aba, Abia State, on Wednesday.

Mrs. Ifeyinwa Morah was shot by her assailants as she returned to her residence at about 7:00 p.m. on that fateful day.

The deceased was reportedly confronted by gun wielding men who had apparently laid ambush for her as she arrived from her husband’s gas plant located on the Aba-Umuahia-Enugu Expressway.

Naija News learn that the miscreants  ordered the woman out of the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) she was driving and enter theirs.

But she turned down the directive.

Angered by the woman’s courage, the hoodlums shot her at close range and jumped into her car and drove off.

Sympathizers rushed to the victim’s aid but she died due to excessive loss of blood.
