Two People Arrested For Attacking Igbokoda King

The Ondo state command of the Nigerian Police have arrested two suspects for alleged attack of the monarch of Igbokoda, in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Afolabi Odidiomo.

The monarch narrowly escaped death on Thursday as thugs from the community attacked him with machetes.

The traditional ruler sustained several machete cuts on his head and was left in a pool of blood by his assailants.

Spokesperson of the state police command, Femi Joseph who confirmed the arrest of the suspects to the press in Akure, also declared the leader of the thugs, one Tale Iwatan wanted by the police.

The police image maker also disclosed that a forty year old man has been arrested in Okitipupa local government for killing a seventy year old man.
