Police Officer Refuses N100 Bribe From Okada Man (Video)

Police engage okada rider in argument over N100 bribe.

A viral video of a policeman in the Mowo area of Badagry, Lagos, demanding bribe from a commercial motorcycle operator (okada) has been making rounds on social media.

The officer refused N100 from the okada rider, claiming it was too small.

This resulted in a heated argument between the officer, the motor cycle operator and a passenger.

It took the intervention of another officer to calm the situation.

The video was shared by a Facebook user ‘I-Kay Freeman’.



“Had an encounter with a drunk policeman today. I was on a bike, he stopped the bike man, was asking for particulars, whole scenario was funny until he released a bullet and threatened to shoot us. Tthat was when I decided to record the video. I wish this video gets to people that would take action,” Freeman wrote.
