Buhari Set To Participate In “One Planet Summit” In Paris

-Nigeria’s participation would further show her commitment to to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

Buhari to attend One Planet Summit in Paris

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to participate in the One Planet Summit in Paris, France.

The summit with the theme, “Climate Change Financing” will hold on December the 12th with over 50 world leaders expected to participate at the event.

The focus of the One Planet Summit would be on generating public and private finance to assist and speed up common efforts to combat climate change.

Nigeria’s participation in the summit will further show the nation’s dedication to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

President Buhari accompanied by three governors and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Environment, will travel to Paris today, Monday, and return to Abuja on Thursday.
