Saraki and I won’t defect to PDP – Ahmed
Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, says he and the Senate President, Bukola Sarakihave no plan to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor said this in an interview with newsmen in Abuja on Sunday.
Ahmed said they had no reason to leave APC now, adding that they were happy with the ruling party and committed to utilizing its platform for service delivery to the people.

Nigerians look unto PDP to rescue them from APC’s maladministration – Atiku
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has charged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to concentrate on sacking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which, he said, “deceived Nigerians” to gain power.
Atiku gave the advice while congratulating Prince Uche Secondus, on winning the PDP national chairman position.

President Buhari leaves Nigeria for Paris today
President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria for Paris, France today, Monday for the One Planet Summit to hold on Tuesday.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said the President, who is expected to be back in the country on Thursday, will be accompanied by the governors of Adamawa, Kano and Ondo states and the ministers of Foreign Affairs and Environment.

8 Die In Road Accident On Lagos-Ore Express Way
An accident which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, has left eight people dead and nine others with various degrees of injuries.
A truck reportedly collided into commercial bus at Olorunpodo junction of the J4 – Ogbere (Ogun State) area of the Lagos – Ore expressway.
The accident which occurred at 4:00am, involved a Toyota hiace bus with number plate ETU 409 XA and Volvo truck with registration number KRD 908 XN.
