#EndSARS: Fani-Kayode tells IGP what to do

Fani-Kayode advises IGP on what he must do.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has advised the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to fish out and prosecute Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) officers terrorizing and brutalizing Nigerians.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, the former Minister decried the illegalities of some operatives of SARS.

“I condemn the brutalisation and murder of innocent Nigerians by SARS and I call on the I-G of Police to identify, flush out and bring to justice the officers amongst them that have tortured, maimed, terrorised and murdered our people,” he wrote.

Some prominent Nigerians, celebrities and other concerned citizens had also condemned the infractions of SARS, following outburst and rage on the social media with hashtag #EndSARS over all sorts of harrasment, wanton arrest, illegal killings, victimization and brutalization by the police unit.

Naija News had reported that the IGP ordered the immediate re-organization of the SARS across the country.
