Libya: Funmi Iyanda speaks On Slave Trade

Nigerian talk show host and journalist, Funmi Iyanda has reacted to the alleged ongoing slave trade in Libya.

She expressed her opinion in a Tweet via her Twitter handle that the only means to rid slavery is to fix African economies to boost the standard of living.

“The way to stop slavery in Africa is to fix African states and economies; integrate, trade, enable the mass of Africa. This must be done by Africans. Everything else is cosmetics and optics,” she tweeted.
