Rotimi Akeredolu, the State Governor, has earlier declared that his administration would not cancel free education at the public primary and secondary schools and he would also provide qualitative education at all levels.

The state Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Femi Agagu, expressed this while speaking with newsmen yesterday on the result of the State Executive Council meeting in Akure, the state capital.

He said the council critically examined the decisions of stakeholders at the last education summit and concluded that the government would continue to fund education at the primary and post primary school levels.
