Arsenal were unrelenting as they overcame premier league opponents, Huddersfield by five goals when both teams met at the Emirates stadium on Wednesday.

Wayne Rooney reminded all fans and several onlookers why he is so highly rated as he scored a long range goal from inside his own half as part of his hat trick which led Everton to a 4-0 win over West Ham.

In other games, Manchester City had their England international player, Raheem  Sterling to thank for another late goal which gave them a 2-1 win over Southampton.
