Libya Slave Trade: Nigerian Celebrities demand that African leaders react immediately

Nigerian Celebrities speak out against slavery in Libya

Libya has in recent times been in the news over claims of slave trade, alleged killings of migrants and human trafficking activities being perpetrated in the country.

As a result of these inhumane activities, Nigerian celebrities in different sectors of the country, have expressed shock and disappointment at the ongoing Slave trade in Libya.

The public figures are have blamed African leaders saying if they had fixed their countries Africans would not be eager to run away from home.

They therefore charged African leaders to act promptly to end this modern day slavery.

Entertainer D’banj called on all Africans to join in the protest against the slave trade, that would be held on Friday at the United Nations High Commission in Lagos.
