PDP Chair candidates disagree over panelists to conduct election

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are at loggerheads ahead of the party’s December 9 convention.

A National Chairman aspirant Prof. Tunde Adeniran has rejected the list of panelists to conduct the ward delegates’ election ahead of the convention and hence petitioned the headship of the party.

The party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting has been fixed for Abuja to conclude on the list, as well as other issues related to the convention.

Adeniran said many members of the committee are sympathisers and supporters of Prince Uche Secondus, another chairmanship candidate.
