I have no regret committing crime, says suspect
Armed robbery suspect says he has no regret committing crime.
A 20-year-old man, Isuhu Usman who was arrested by the Niger State Police Command at Ibelu Village, in Magma Local Government Area of the state, said on Wednesday that he does not regret going into crime.
Naija News gathered that Usman, one of the four armed robbers while being paraded confessed that he willingly went into armed robbery.
He told the Nation, “I voluntarily and willingly committed the crime as nobody forced me into robbery.
“I am not going to beg anybody for the offence I committed knowingly. So, government should go ahead and jail me because I deserve it.”

It was gathered that his accomplice, Bello Umar, however, regretted his actions and pleaded for mercy.
“I regret my involvement in the crime and I plead with the Police to have mercy on me because I don’t know how I got into the gang.
“This is not my first time and I can’t explain how the crime went into my blood, because I have been on it for years and I pray that Allah will forgive me,” he pleaded.
Niger Police Public Relations Officer, Abigail Unaeze, therefore, said investigations were underway and the suspects would soon be charged to court.
