Lagos State Assembly passes cooprative college bill into law.
Cooperative college bill passed into law in Lagos.
Lagos State House of Assembly has passed into law, a bill to establish Lagos State Cooperative College, in a bid to further boost economic development of the state.
The bill was passed after it scaled Third Reading on the floor of the House, on Monday.
The legislators perfected some corrections in the 31-section bill before it was conclusively passed by the State House.

Carrying out a voice vote on each of the sections of the bill, the Speaker, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, finally passed the bill into law.
Obasa said: “Having considered the Third Reading for a bill to establish the Lagos State Cooperative College and for Connected Purposes, the bill is hereby passed into law.’’
The speaker afterwards, instructed the Clerk of the House, Mr Azeez Sanni, to forward a clean copy of the bill to Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode for his assent.
