N-Power: FG reveals numbers of beneficiaries deployed
The Federal Government has revealed that a total of 176,160 graduate beneficiaries had been deployed under its Social Investment Programme, N-Power, across Nigeria.
This was disclosed in a book titled: ‘‘Making Steady, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria’s Peace and Prosperity: A Mid-Term Report Card on the Buhari Administration.”

Biafra: IPOB warns all commercial vehicle operators to stay away from Anambra State during election
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has denied claims that it intends to disrupt the Anambra governorship election on Saturday.
The group said it only intend to boycott the election because it will be the same as others that have been conducted in Nigeria.

I cut off my breast to survive cancer – Ondo Gov’s wife, Betty Akeredolu
Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, wife of the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has revealed that she cut off one of her breasts in order to survive cancer.
The Ondo first lady, who disclosed this in an interview with Punch, said, “It was after the examination that the doctor again confirmed there was a lump. Even at that stage, he didn’t know what it was.

Boko Haram: Nigerian Army loses troop members in Maiduguri
The Nigerian Army has disclosed that the force has lost three of its soldiers.
The Army said the loss followed the successfully raiding of 13 Boko Haram hideouts in the Sambisa forest in one week.
The information was revealed on Sunday, in Maiduguri, Borno State, by Col. Kinsley Samuel, Deputy Director, Public Relations, 7 Division of the Nigeria Army.

Ikoyi Osborne Towers whistle blower to be paid this month – Adeosun
The whistle blower that gave valid information that led to the recovery of $43.5 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at No. 16 Osborne Road, Flat 7B Osborne Towers in Ikoyi, Lagos, will be paid his commission this week.
This latest development was disclosed by the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun, who stated that such whistle-blowers are usually paid after all necessary procedures have been duly followed.

Biafra: Nigerian Army kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu – Fani-Kayode alleges
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Sunday maintained that the Nigerian Army abducted the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, from his home.
However, Fani-Kayode, alleging the Nigerian Army of assaulting and abducting Kanu, while attacking his relatives, described the military as being “heartless and unacceptable.”

Nigerian Soldier Kills Army Captain, 4 Others Before Killing Himself
A sergeant of the Nigerian army, Silas Ninyo (93NA/36/2608) killed his superior, Captain T. Mani today, Sunday, November 12.
Naija News learnt that Captain Mani stopped Sergeant Ninyo from beating innocent civilians in Chibok, Borno state after responding to distress calls from locals.
