Chorister dies while sing choruses in church.

A member of a Pentecostal church along Cemetery Road in Sapele, Delta State, Ese Kalu, has slumped and died.

The female member collapsed on Tuesday evening while leading praise and worship during a mid-week service in church.

The deceased chorister was a petty trader and members of the church said she had attended church service that evening, full of life.

However, she suddenly slumped and began clutching her chest, Vanguard reported.

A lady who said she was the late woman’s relative disclosed to the newspaper that she had no medical history.

The woman said, “Ese went to church around 7pm. she was singing when she suddenly stopped and clutched her chest, before going down.

“Church members who took her to the hospital came back crying, they said she died before they could get to the clinic.”
