Billionaire Kidnapper: Court dismisses Evans’ application to nullify murder, illegal arms charges

Evans’ applications to squash murder and illegal arms possession dismissed.

The Lagos State High Court in Igbosere on Friday, dismissed two applications by the alleged kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans, seeking to annihilate the charges of murder and illegal sales of firearms.

Information obtained by Punch says that Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in his ruling, described the applications as misconceived and lacking in merit.

The judge held that the evidence filed by the state to back charges showed sufficient material worth pursuing by the prosecuting counsel.

Naija News learnt that the dismissal of the applications allowed for Evans’ arraignment on two new charges.
