Lagos Baker Lands In Prison Over Alleged Anal S3x With Minor

A 32-year-old man, Umar Lawali, was on Thursday remanded by a Birnin Kebbi Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl.

Naija News gathered that the prosecutor, Inspector Bello Sani told the court that the offence was committed in July by the accused, who is a resident of Yar Fada quarters in Argungu Local Government Area.

He added that the medical records also revealed that the girl was raped.

The prosecutor said the offence contravened Section 283 of the Penal Code.

However, Lawalli pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Chief Magistrate, Malam Muktar Tafarki, ordered the prosecutor to further investigate the matter and forward the case file to the state Director of Public Prosecution, for advice.

He therefore, adjourned the matter till December 8 for further hearing.
