Yemi Alade’s ‘Johnny’ is the most watched music video on youtube

Yemi Alade’s 2014 hit song,  Johnny was announced the most watched music video by a female African on YouTube with about 72 million views earlier this year. But a few months down the line, Johnny has surpassed that record to become the most watch Nigerian music video ever on YouTube with over 79 million views.

P-Square’s tribute to Michael Jackson, titled ‘Personally’, was the most viewed Nigerian music video on YouTube but has dropped to second position with 78, 897, 625 views while ‘Johnny’ zooms into number one position with 79, 009, 968 views.
