Prince Mansour bin Muqrin killed in helicopter crash.

A Saudi Prince Mansour bin Muqrin, died on Sunday when the helicopter he was travelling in crashed near the border with Yemen.

Al-Ikhbariya news channel reports that the Prince, who was the deputy governor of Asir province, was travelling with several officials when the helicopter crashed.

Saudi news outlet Okaz said that unconfirmed reports stated that there were no survivors, therefore, the fate of other occupants of the helicopter remains hazy.

Naija News gathered that Prince Mansour bin Muqrin is the son of another former crown prince and his father Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz, was pushed aside by his half-brother King Salman a few months after he took the throne in 2015.

Saudi Arabia said it intercepted a ballistic missile, fired from Yemen, near Riyadh airport the day before the incident occurred.
