Leaked memo reveals Buhari’s involvement in Maina’s reinstatement – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has stated that the leaked memo from the office of the Head of Service, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, further reveals the alleged involvement of President Muhammadu Buhari in the reinstatement of embattled former Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, into the civil service.

Alex Ekeueme in ICU after collapsing

Former Vice-President during the second republic, Alex Ekwueme, has collapsed and is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Memfys Hospital for Neurosurgery, by Penok petrol station in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu State.

Ekwueme slumped at about 2am last Saturday, in his home in Independence Layout, Enugu, Daily post reports.

Boko Haram: Insurgents attack travellers in Borno

Boko Haram terrorists attacked travellers along Banki- Bula Yobe Road in Bama Local Government Area of Borno, leaving four passengers dead and six injured on Tuesday.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Sani Kukasheka, who disclosed this in a statement in Maiduguri, however, said troops also killed countless number of the insurgents in a gun battle.

What Buhari wants to be remembered for

President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed what he would like Nigerians to remember him for.

He said ants to be rememberered as the President that “that met a vandalised Nigeria, and reset the buttons on almost all areas of national life — political, social, economic, local and international image.”
