Dino Melaye hails President Buhari, urges him to sack accused public officials

Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for dismissing  Babachir Lawal as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

He made his reaction on the sack known through a series of tweets on his Twitter account.

Melaye enjoined Buhari to also fire “indicted public officials” whom he described as “wrong pegs” in the President’s  government.

Melaye expressed: “Excellent move by Mr President though coming late. Boss Mustapha is a decent man, intellectually mobile and administratively sagacious.

“This ‘sack drug’ must extend to other indicted public officials including the wrong pegs in this Government. There is urgent need for a rejig.

“We must use the less than 2 years remaining to fulfill our campaign promises because We are poles away from our promises”.

Meanwhile, Buhari on Monday announced Boss Gida Mustafa, who is also from Adamawa, as the new SGF.
