Nude Dancing: 1000 NSCDC personnel deployed to hotels across Ilorin

The Commandant of NSCDC in the state, Mr. Wasiu Adeyinka-Ayinla, revealed the development while addressing journalists in the state Capital, Ilorin.

He stated that the personnel were already discharging their duties at their designated posts.

Adeyinka-Ayinla  said, “Our intelligence officers are currently in various hotels day and night to arrest hoteliers who engage in strip dance”.

The commandant stated that the corps partnered with other agencies to carry out the operation.

He also cautioned hotel owners in the state against keeping guests with questionable characters.

He re-emphasised the corps commitment to tackling pipeline vandalism and other acts capable of tarnishing the image of the state and Nigeria.

Naija News recalls that Kwara Assembly summoned proprietors of hotels in the state on August 15 over accusations of nude dances in the hotels.

The complaint was lodged to the Assembly by some religious leaders.
