A bomb has exploded in Muna, Maiduguri in Borno state.

The explosion occurred on Sunday, close to a security checkpoint, along the Dikwa-Gamboru Ngala road, Sun News reported.

However, the number of casualties hit by the catastrophe, which occured about two kilometres from the city centre, is yet to be disclose.
