2019 Election: Maina’s governorship campaign posters emerge in FCT, Borno, other cities

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the governorship campaign posters of the embattled ex-chairman of Presidential Task Force for Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, have surfaced in some Northern states of the country.

Naija News gathered that the posters are reportedly sighted in Borno, Kaduna, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and Bauchi States having the imprint of Borno Stakeholders’ Forum as sponsors.

Maina’s image boldly imprint on the poster with caption: “Hope 2019 Borno shall be great again.”

Also written on the poster is, “With Abdulrasheed Maina, Our Future is Guaranteed”.

Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the disengagement of Maina from Federal Civil Service on Monday over controversies surrounding his reinstatement into service.

There have been claims and counter-claims over Maina’s return into the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

EFCC is currently on Maina’s trail for alleged N2bn fraud committed while in office some years ago. Therefore, some of his properties have been sealed off by the anti graft agency.
