Chelsea defeats Everton as Tottenham crash out of Carabao cup

-8 clubs progress to the EFL Carabao cup quarter final stage.

The last round of matches in the EFL cup were played yesterday as Chelsea made it to the next round at the expense of Everton and Tottenham lost to West Ham at the Wembley stadium to crash out of the competition.

Tottenham had taken a two goal lead over West Ham but were unable to maintain their lead as their opponents equalized and went on to win 3-2.

The draws for the next round of matches will be streamed live on the Carabao Cup Twitter handle and will hold on Thursday, 26th October by 4:00 pm (BST).

The eight clubs will find out who their opponents will be in the December Quarter-Final fixtures which has been scheduled to be played during the week commencing 18 December.

The final will be played at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday 25th February, 2018.
