-Super Eagles to take on Argentina in a friendly game ahead of Russia 2018 tournament.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play a friendly match against Argentina on November 14 in Russia, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced.

The friendly game will serve as part of preparations and fine tuning of tactics for the Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 world cup tournament.

Though the agreement is already in place with the Argentine FA, the match itself is subject to approval by the world football governing body, FIFA. Dr Mohammed Sanusi, NFF’s secetary general revealed.

“We have had long and fruitful talks, and we can say that we have an agreement,” Sanusi said in a statement on the NFF’s official website.

“We await the approval by FIFA and also, we have to agree on the flight arrangements that would be comfortable for the players and crew.”

The friendly game comes up four days after the Super Eagles tackle Algeria in their last game of qualifiers for the Russia 2018 games. A game which the Algerians will be playing for pride as the eagles have already secured qualification.

Information obtained by Naija News, revealed that super stars, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero as well as Paulo Dybala has been named as part of the squad to face the Eagles by the Argentine coach.
