President Buhari sacks head of Pensions Task force, Abdulrasheed Maina

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered that the former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, be immediately dismissed from service.

The information was issued in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Monday.

Adesina said, the President’s instruction was contained in a memo to the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita.

The media aide added that the President equally directed that a comprehensive report of the circumstances of Maina’s recall and posting to the Ministry of Interior be submitted to the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, before the close of the today.
