There is total traffic lock down along the Abuja-Lokoja highway following the alleged killing of a tanker driver by the officials of the Kogi state revenue board.

According to eyewitness reports, the truck driver, heading to the South West from Maiduguri was said to have been flagged down by revenue officials early Wednesday morning.

The demand by revenue officials that the driver pays a revenue fee of ₦5,000 was said to have generated a heated argument and subsequently resulted in physical fight when the vehicle was impounded.
