Plateau killings: I will not relent until the attackers are prosecuted – Plateau Governor

Following the recent killing of six persons by gunmen in Tegbe Village, Miango district in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, the State Governor Simon Lalong has vowed to prosecute the perpetrators of the terror attack.

Naija News gathered that the governor said this on Sunday while reacting to the attack which occurred on Saturday night.

Nigeria needs to borrow urgently – Finance Minister, Adeosun

Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun said in a bid to deliver critical infrastructural projects such as roads, rail and power, Nigeria needs to borrow more.

She predicated her claim on the fact that Nigeria currently has one of the lowest debt-to-Gross Domestic Product figures in the world.

El-Rufai instigated President Buhari to terminate Atiku’s Intels

Muhammadu Abdullahi Sugar, Political aide of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has alleged that Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna State is fighting the former VP through the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

Sugar’s made the allegation in reaction to the termination news of Atiku’s Intels Nigeria Limited’s Boats Pilotage Monitoring and Supervision agreement entered with NPA, stating that it is the “handiwork” of El-Rufai.

Nigerian Army ends Operation Python Dance in South-East

Nigerian Army has officially declared conluded, its exercise in the South-East, code named: Operation Python Dance.

The closure was disclosed to journalists by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar.

The Nigeria Police Force has denied claims that officers of the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team extorted over N50m from billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike better known as Evans.

Olukoya Ogungbeje, counsel to Evans claimed that valuables worth millions of naira was extorted from his clients.

Biafra: Buhari, Buratai to be charged to International Criminal Court

An American law firm of Fein & DelValle PLLC, has announced that it, “is drafting a criminal indictment against Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusfu Buratai, for genocide and crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.”
