LASU to admit 3,500 candidates for 2017/2018 session

-LASU denies reports it will admit 5,500 candidates for its 2017/2018 admission exercise.

The Lagos State University, LASU has disclosed only 3,500 candidates out of the 36,500 that applied for admission, will be admitted into the University for the 2017/2018 academic session.

A statement issued by the University’s Head of Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, Adekoya Martins in Lagos on Thursday, made the disclosure to the public.

He also denied information making rounds on some social media platforms that LASU was set to admit 5,500 out of 36,500 candidates.

“The university management wishes to state unequivocally that such information is false, baseless and unfounded.”

“Consequently, members of the university community and the general public are advised to disregard such information,” he said.
