-Arsenal celebrates Alex Iwobi as Nigeria qualifies for Russia 2018.

-Iwobi scored in both legs of the qualifying games against Zambia.

As several congratulatory messages continue to pour in for the Super Eagles team, as well as individual players that took part in the world cup qualifiers, English Premier League side, Arsenal FC, have also celebrated their player, Alex Iwobi.

The Arsenal youngster, scored the only goal of the game to break the Zambian’s hearts and grab the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup ticket for Nigeria on Saturday.

Alex Iwobi, who replaced Moses Simon in the highly tensed match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo on Saturday, scored the solitary goal of the match in the 73rd minute to send Nigeria through to Russia 2018.

Iwobi’s second half goal, eliminated any hope the Zambians had of making it to Russia or delaying the group’s result till the final round of matches which will be played on November 6.
