Breaking: Kachikwu in closed door meeting with President Buhari

-Kachikwu holds closed door meeting with President Buhari.

The minister of State for Petroleum Resources Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, is currently in a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The minister, accompanied by his personal assistant, arrived the Presidential Villa at 11:33 am and headed straight to the New Banquet Hall, for a scheduled meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Although the agenda for the meeting was not made public, it is most probably connected to the leaked memo which exposed the ongoing rift between him and the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru.

The Minister had accused Baru of not being transparent in the handling of affairs of NNPC as well as acts of insubordination.
