Mr. Kachikwu resorted to writing the letter because of his inability to have a one on one meeting with the president. In his letter, he called on the president to take drastic steps to save the NNPC amid a N9 trillion contract scam allegedly involving NNPC director.
The minister is expected to further discuss the allegations with the president at meeting in order to know the way forward.
