The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has commissioned an additional car park for use at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

The newly built 1,300-capacity car park, has six levels and was built in partnership with Seymour Aviation Limited in a 30-year Built Operate and Transfer (BOT) arrangement.

Represented at the commissioning ceremony in Lagos by the Director of Engineering Services, Nurudeen Daura, the Managing Director of FAAN, Saleh Dunoma, noted that the facility came at a time it was well needed.

He further expressed optimism that the new parking facility will improve passenger movement and reduce the menace of indiscriminate parking within and around the premises of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

“Today’s event is a testament of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with FAAN and Seymour Aviation,” he said.
